Our story

Lighthouse Aviation was created in 2010 by aircraft leasing expert, Jan Melgaard. Our vision is to offer an aircraft leasing alternative that distinguishes itself from competitors by being a partner. Lighthouse Aviation’s approach to partnership is being responsive to the customer’s needs and establishing long term relationships.

Today, the company is managed by Jan Melgaard and Max Bachrach.

Meet Jan

Danish native Jan Melgaard has more than 25 years experience with financing, leasing and investing in commercial aircraft.

Meet Max

Swedish native Max Bachrach has been in the aircraft mgt. industry since 1997 focused on analysis, financing, leasing and  purchasing commercial aircraft.
